1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Endocannabinoid Clinical ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for licensed healthcare professionals and institutional users. By using the Service, you represent that you are authorized to access clinical reference materials in your professional capacity.

2. Clinical Disclaimer

Important — Read Before Use

Endocannabinoid Clinical is an educational and clinical reference tool only. It is not a substitute for clinical judgment, medical advice, professional training, or your institution's established protocols.

The information provided through this Service is general in nature and based on patterns described in the medical literature. It does not account for individual patient factors, comorbidities, medication interactions, or institution-specific policies that may materially affect clinical decision-making.

You must always exercise independent clinical judgment and follow your institution's guidelines. A documented discussion with the anesthesia team is required for perioperative decisions — this tool does not replace that process.

The operator of Endocannabinoid Clinical is not liable for any clinical decisions made using this tool, including but not limited to anesthesia management, surgical planning, pain control strategies, or patient outcomes. Use of this Service is at your own professional risk and responsibility.

3. Description of Service

Endocannabinoid Clinical provides structured perioperative reference information for healthcare professionals managing cannabis-using surgical patients. The Service includes a patient lookup tool, protocol references, and related educational content. Content is subject to update as the clinical evidence base evolves.

4. Subscriptions and Payment

Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles are described on our Pricing page.

Payment processing terms will be updated when Stripe integration is activated. Subscriptions may be cancelled according to the terms presented at the time of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any purpose other than legitimate clinical reference in a professional healthcare setting
  • Reproduce, distribute, or resell Service content without authorization
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the clinical logic or content database
  • Share subscription credentials outside your authorized institutional seats
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable law

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, clinical frameworks, and software comprising the Service are owned by Endocannabinoid Clinical or its licensors. Your subscription grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service for its intended professional use.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR CLINICALLY COMPLETE FOR ALL SCENARIOS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENDOCANNABINOID CLINICAL AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM CLINICAL DECISIONS, PATIENT OUTCOMES, OR RELIANCE ON SERVICE CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is located, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
